The Diros Caves

The Diros Caves are perhaps the most important natural site in Greece. The Vlychada Diros Cave is one of the finest caves and is located on the west coast of Laconia Chersonissos, at Diros Breeze. Under the unspoiled landscape of Mani, nature with unparalleled art and patience smashed a miracle beyond imagination, whitewashed stalactites and stalagmites, stunning curtains and glowing crystals adorn every corner, creating an unparalleled breathtaking spectacle!

Voidokilia Beach

Voidokilia Beach is a popular beach in Messinia in the Mediterranean area. In the shape of the Greek letter omega (Ω), its sand forms a semicircular strip of dunes. On the land-facing side of the strip of dunes is Gialova Lagoon, an important bird habitat. The beach has been named "A Place of Particular Natural Beauty" and it is part of a Natura 2000 protected area.

Gorge of Rintomo

The Gorge of Rintomo, is one of the biggest gorges in Greece, begins from Taygetus and ends at the Messinian Bay, at the beach of Santova. It has rich flora and interesting geological formations, such as sharp canyons, caves and rocks. Beautifully preserved alleys and arch bridges compose an amazing landscape.

Kalamata

Kalamata is the capital of the Prefecture of Messinia. Known for its beaches and its traditional and modern architecture, Kalamata can satisfy every visitor. The unique beauty of the city, fine food and traditional dishes have contributed to the tourist development of Kalamata, which has been experiencing a huge bloom in recent years.

Sights

The church of the Holy Apostles, the symbol of the city, is a small Byzantine church (in the 11th-12th century) with some frescoes of the 14th century.
The Franconian Castle offers panoramic views of the city.
Kalamata Municipal Railroad Park is located in the south of the city center and is an open-air railway museum, the largest in Greece and awarded by the European Commission.

Mantinies - Kitries - Santova

Kitries is a seaside historical village of Messinia, or Messinian Mani. It is located in the northeast of the Messinian Gulf, at a distance of 15 km southeast of Kalamata. Nearby you can find Mantinies which is a small traditional village and of course one of the most famous beaches in Messinia, Santova with golden sand and clean waters.

Guthio - Monemvasia

Gythio is a historic town and harbor located in the southern Peloponnese near the estuary of river Evrotas, west of the gulf of Laconian Gulf. It is built amphitheatrically on the eastern foothills of Mount Laryssos and is the main port of the Laconian Gulf and the second south of the Peloponnese, after Kalamata. You can eat in the traditional taverns in the marina or take a stroll through the picturesque streets of the city. 

Monemvasia, is a small historic town in the eastern Peloponnese, in the province of Epidaurus Limiras, in the prefecture of Laconia. It is more famous than the medieval fortress, on the Monemvasia rock, which is literally a small island connected by a bridge to a formed neck of 400 meters length with the current coast and opposite the town on the Laconian coast. The rescued buildings and structures in the castle include defensive structures of the outer castle and several small Byzantine churches.
